Subject: NCDI classes begin Monday August 16
Dear NCDI students and parents,
Classes begin Monday August 16!
We're looking forward to dancing together again at NCDI.
COVID-19 information
Masks will be required for everyone inside NCDI, including during classes.
On August 13, the city of Raleigh ordered a mask mandate in all
indoor public spaces and businesses. We all hope this is a temporary requirement, but we agree it's necessary
at this time to help reduce the spread and protect our younger, unvaccinated students.
All classes will be held in-person at NCDI. Students should not attend if they're experiencing potential
symptoms of
COVID-19. Zoom classes may be considered at some point for those who cannot attend in-person. Updates
will be posted and emailed to families. We'll continue to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission at NCDI with
lowered class capacity limits and minimizing congestion in the hallways and lobby. Parents and siblings should
limit entering the NCDI lobby unless needed.
Additional information can be found at the
NC.Gov COVID-19 Information Hub.
New to NCDI
For the first week or two of classes, we understand that many parents will be introducing their dancers to new
teachers and acclimating to our studios. For those new to NCDI, please come inside to help your children. For
returning students' parents, please drop off and pick up your dancers via our breezeway or from the car. The
side alleyway is also available to park/wait without requiring a parking space. The library is also a great place
to meet your dancer after classes. Dancers will be released to the breezeway immediately following classes.

NCDI turned 20!
It all began in the summer of 2001. Thank you for trusting us with your dance arts
education. We hope you've enjoyed it as much as we have.
Thank you for your support.
Stay strong and dance on!
