Mariah Glenn
Tap

Mariah has been teaching for thirteen years. She trained in ballet with Ruth Lenny-Midkiff, jazz with her mother, Patty Ogden, and hip-hop with Geo Hubela. Mariah also trained with Gene Medler, founder of NCYTE (North Carolina Youth Tap Ensemble). She was a member of NCYTE while in high school. Mariah's love for tap has been growing ever since the day she first tried on a pair of tap shoes. Her passion really shows through her teaching and her ability to connect with her students.

Mariah is also a singer/songwriter/musician. She is currently working with a record label and performs all over North Carolina. Mariah continues to sharpen her dance skills by going to conventions like Showstoppers and Dance Life Teacher Conference. Mariah teaches all levels of tap, and specializes in rhythm tap. We are super excited about Mariah teaching tap classes at NC Dance Institute!
