Meredith Hibbits is a native of Tupelo, Mississippi where she studied dance at Tupelo Academy of Dance Arts under the direction of Sharon Long. Meredith spent her summers training at Alabama Ballet under former ABT principals Wes Chapman and Amanda McKerrow. She was featured as Clara and Snow Queen in the Tupelo Ballet’s The Nutcracker and Lilac Fairy in Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty. Meredith received talent awards in the Miss Mississippi Pageant, and was named first runner up in Mississippi’s Outstanding Teen competition.

Meredith graduated from University of Alabama with degrees in Dance, History, and Liberal Arts. She performed with the dance company Alabama Repertory Dance Theatre, and and choreographed for Dance Alabama!. She received the Dean’s Award of Merit, and graduated summa cum laude in May 2010. Following her graduation, Meredith danced professionally with the Entertainment department at Disney World in Orlando FL where she met her husband. She is the proud mother of two beautiful daughters. Meredith is excited to share the training she’s received with new students and to invest in the community she’s pleased to call home.
