Hannah Richman
Children's Dance, Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Musical Theatre
Hannah began dancing at NCDI in 2019. She cherished the studio's welcoming and supportive community. Her favorite styles include modern, jazz, and musical theater.
Hannah is a classically trained vocalist and attended UNCSA for her senior year of high school. Hannah had the principal role in Piedmont Opera's production of Ragtime in 2022. Hannah was a Triangle Rising Star Finalist two years in a row at the Durham Performing Arts Center. She choreographed Meredith College's musical, Strike Up the Band.
Hannah attends UNC-Chapel Hill, double majoring in Drama and Communications. At UNC-CH, she is active in the arts with Kenan Theatre Company, Playmakers Repertory Company and danced with Bill T Jones's Community Movers. During the summer of 2023, she interned with Nephesh Theatre Company in Tel Aviv, Israel. She danced at Studio Naim and loved the experience of dancing in another country.
Hannah has gained valuable experience as a Teachers' Assistant for Ms Kirstie and Preschool classes at NCDI. Hannah is thrilled to be teaching at NCDI and hopes to cultivate an inclusive, supportive, and fun environment in her classes.
