Kayla Baker
Modern, Contemporary
Dr.
Kayla Baker is a native of Baltimore, Maryland who has used
her love for dance and education to align her purpose, passion,
and profession. Kayla brings a wealth of experience in teaching,
education, performing arts, and student success. She strives
to use her talents to motivate, inspire, and encourage others
- dedicating a great portion of her efforts to teaching dance
to young people.
Kayla
brings more than 20 years of experience in dance with an intensive
background and training in ballet, modern, contemporary, liturgical,
and African dance. Over the last eight years, she has taught
at a number of dance studios, hosted dance classes, coached
dance teams, and launched her brand, Artistic Intellectual.
Dr.
Kayla enjoys traveling, concerts, mentoring, and serving the
community as a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Kayla recently taught at Enloe High School and attends NC
Dance Institute classes. She will be guest teaching this fall
2024 for ballet and contemporary classes.
